Introduction

In the administrator web-interface: Administration - System - Systems settings - Provisioning you have the option "Add devices automatically"

By default this parameter is enabled, that means that every Gigaset or Polycom conference phone that connects to the system is provisioned by the system and gets a "nobody" account.

Devices that are automatically added to the system can be found under: Administration - Provisioning - phones

Security

To increase the security you can disable this feature so that new phones are not automatically configured by the T640/T440. To add new device you need to enable this option again.
