Distinctive Ring offers the possibility to use different ringtones for I= nternal, external or group calls.

The Platform / provider has to send the correct information using the
PBX sends URI of a ring melody in SIP =E2=80=98Alert-Info=E2=80=99 heade= r field in the following format:
Alert-Info: <URI>[;<RINGER_INFO>[;<POSTFIX>]]=

URI of the ringer melody. If a special (configurable) URI is used, e.g.:= <http://www.example.com>, or <http://127.0.0.1>
then it means for the phone that Alert-Info contains local ring melody t= ag, otherwise URI points at a ringer melody (in .wav format) in the network= , which shall be downloaded and played by the phone.

In the N510 and N720, there is a new provisioning parameter that provide= s a limited functionality to change the Alert-Header:
