Extend an existing Bintec DECT system with:

• Gigaset PRO handset(s)

How to:

1. Upgrade the Bintec DECT system with the firmware ...
2. Extend the DECT system with a Gigaset device:
   1. Bintec DECT 160 with Gigaset N670
   2. Bintec DECT 210 with Gigaset N870
3. Add new Gigaset PRO DECT handsets
   They will be fully supported

New DECT installation behind a Bintec PBX system:

This solution provides the possibility to:

• Install a Gigaset DECT behind an Bintec PBX
• That is auto-provisioned by the Bintec PBX
• With no license required in the Bintec system

How to:

1. Install a standard Gigaset DECT N670/N870
2. Upgrade the Gigaset DECT system with the firmware ...
3. Upload this provisioning file ... via the DECT web-interface
4. Reboot the DECT system
5. The Gigaset DECT system can be installed like a normal Bintec DECT system

Remark:

• Gigaset DECT handsets will have full functionality
• Bintec DECT handsets will have GAP functionality (Make and receive calls)
• You can not install Bintec DECT 160/210 as DECT base behind the Gigaset DECT
• If you want to combine Gigaset DECT system with Bintec DECT system then the Bintec DECT should be installed as the "All-in-one" device with Gigaset devices as additional DECT base. See: The above article
