Introduction

The Chef Secretary feature is a feature where all calls to the chef are ringing at the secretary but the secretary can always call the Chef.

Configuration

Permission groups

Create 2 new permission groups: Administration - User and Extensions - Permissions - Permission groups

Image Added

  • Permission group Chef
  • Permission group Secretary

Add user to permission group.

Open the user settings: Administration - User and Extensions - Users and assign the user group.

  • User 210 - Secretary
  • User 211 - Chef

Activate the Override Call Forward Permission

Open the Secretary Permission group and add the permission "Override Call forward" apply to "Chef" group

Divert the Chef to the Secretary

Open the user settings of device 211 (Chef) and set the call forward to the number 210 (Secretary)
