You can install the Integrator also using Oracle VM VirtualBox, for this you would first need to download the Integrator image (ova-file) from the wiki and unzip this image file (7-zip). It contains two files you need:

  • .._appliance-disk1.vmdk
  • .._appliance-disk2.vmdk

Click on "New" to create an new Virtual Machine. Use the settings below.

We advise you to use 4GB of memory

Select "Use and existing virtual hard disk file" and select the "..disk1.vmdk", click on Create

Now, the first steps are already done. You have to add the overlay as second drive to the instance. For that you go into the "Settings" menu of the already created instance. In the Settings menu You select "Storage" and click on the symbol "Add hard disk", "Choose existing disk" and point to the overlay disk (..disk2.vmdk). The following picture shows the result of such setup:

Press "OK" to finish the installation.

Finally, switch off audio and configure network to your needs. we recommend to first change the network adapter type to any of the given Intel network cards such as "Intel PRO/ 10000 T Server. For a quick test You can attach that card to "Host-only Adapter" which lets You simply open the Web-Page of Your instance right after you have started it.

When your Virtual machine has started, you can see the IP address of your Integrator.
