The PNG-S monitors the person and reports an alarm when alarm conditions are detected. The following types of alarms and signals are possible:


  • Manual Alarm:
    The user can trigger an alarm by pressing the alarm key.

  • Man Down Alarm:
    The integrated movement sensors identify deviations of approx. 70° from the vertical position of the handset.

  • Non Movement No Motion Alarm:
    The integrated movement sensors detect immobility of the handset.

  • Escape Alarm:
    The integrated movement sensors detect sudden, violent movements of the handset.

  • Time Alarm:
    The operator's ability to respond can be controlled through regular operation of the handset. The user is prompted to input something at set times.
    Manual Alarm:
    The user can trigger an alarm by pressing the alarm key.

  • Technical Warning Signal:
    The handset detects local technical faults or keep-alive requests. These are signaled to the user. Example: The handset is out of range or the battery charge is too low. The user can subsequently initiate measures in order to resolve the fault.

  • Pre-alarm informs the monitored persons of an impending alarm. The alarm can still be reset during the pre-alarm time in order to avoid false alarms.

The response time, pre-alarm time, possibly sensitivity level, alarm signal and alarm destination can be configured for each alarm type.
