titleService information

Onboarding account:

This is an SIP account created by Microsoft used to be able to start the Microsoft Sign-in procedure. With this account it is not possible to make or receive calls.

Add an DECT handset:

When you add an new handset, only when an valid IPUI number is used an onboarding account is created. Adding an DECT handset using fixed numbering or placeholders is not supported.

Replace an existing handset:

Microsoft binds an valid IPUI number with an Teams user. If the DECT handset has to be replaced, you need to start adding an new DECT handset and the Microsoft Sign-in procedure to add this new IPUI to the Teams user. Using the handset replace option in the web-interface is not possible.

Provisioning:

You are used that an platform configures an complete DECT system, Microsoft Teams integration configures one handset and not the whole DECT system. Microsoft teams has no knowledge about the handset location.

Only adding an DECT handset using an IPUI and selecting the "Microsoft Teams onboarding" "Provider or PBX profiles" starts Microsoft teams provisioning.

New or Re-registration of the DECT handset starts provisioning only for this handset.

An check-sync send by the Microsoft platform to the handset SIP account will start provisioning only for this DECT handset.

Handset provisioning will not start using existing methods like: Reboot / After time / Click on Start provisioning in web-interface.
