Introduction

The company PhoneSuite offers a TAPI solution for Asterisk based PBX systems like the Gigaset T640/T440 here we describe how we did the installation. Questions about PhoneSuite can not be answered by Gigaset.

Installation

Up to 20 users, the TAPI client is installed direct on the user PC.

1. Change the Manager.conf on the Gigaset T640/T440
2. Install the PhoneSuite TAPI for Asterisk on the client PC.
3. Configure the PhoneSuite TAPI

Additional info

• Gigaset phone should switch to handsfree when using TAPI to dial out.
• Dial from Outlook.
