Jitter Buffer: JBXJitter Buffer Abs MaximumThis delay is the absolute maximum in milliseconds that the adaptive jitter buffer can reach under worst-case conditions.
it is the Maximum default value of the Jitter buffer settings. (400 ms, default setting Maxwell)

What can influence the call quality:

  1. Jitter (Variation in packet Latency)
  2. Packet Loss (Packets being dropped because of too much traffic, router issues, defect hardware and many more)
  3. Latency (The time between the package is send and received)
  4. Hardware
  5. Codec (Non compressed codecs like G711 will give the best voice quality. Compressed codecs like G729 can quickly degrade.)
  6. Bandwidth (Low bandwidth or not enough bandwidth can cause packages having high Latency/Jitter and packages being dropped, with quality of service you can ensure that enough bandwidth is available for VoIP calls.)
