Specify here how the selected operating mode (see Section 3.1.3, "Operating mode") is to be activated (applies for all device types).

If only Automatic is activated, the selected operating mode is activated automatically when the handset is removed from the charger and deactivated when the handset is replaced in the charger.

If Manual is deactivated, the selected operating mode cannot be activated or deactivated manually. Both options can be activated.

Procedure:

Select the Additional Features icon in the main menu.
Select Alarm Configuration.
Enter the five-position service PIN and confirm with OK.
Select one of the three operating modes.
Select [Mode] Activation.

- - Handset will change to pause mode
  - Handset will not start any sensor alarm like none movement
  - SOS key press will not start an alarm
  - Alarm and PNG mode:
    - Keepalive messages are not send to the server
    - Server can not start an alarm on the handset
    - Server can start logoff or logon procedure
    - Server can start resume procedure

Basic mode: Automatic logon enabled

Alarm and PNG mode: Automatic logon enabled

Basic mode: Pause in charger enabled
