What is new?

An Alarm call in the Basic mode requires that the called party, acknowledge the alarm call via the DTMF code "5".

This functionality also needs to be supported by the platform (inband DTMF).

When inband DTMF is not supported or DTMF acknowledgement is not requested and:

• • Handset is connected to N610/N670/N870 using software 2.61 or higher
  • R700H protect software 00604 or higher

DTMF acknowledgement can be disabled via a new menu item: Menu - Additional Features - Alarm Configuration - Basic Mode - Alarms - General Settings - Confirmation: On/Off
