From software 2.62 or higher, you can assign the incoming/outgoing line via the handset connected to the N610. Only possible when Internal telephony is enabled. In order to be able to make calls with your telephone over the Internet, you must configure at least one VoIP connection on your telephone. You can configure VoIP connections using the following methods:

- Open the handset menu (control key) → Select Services
- Press down on the control key to scroll through the list.
- Press the display key OK if you wish to change the Send Connection setting.
- Press the display key OK if you wish to change the Rec. Connections setting.
Send Connection
The list of receive connections currently assigned is displayed.
- Press down on the control key to scroll through the list if necessary.
- Press the display key Select if you wish to change the receive connection setting.
- Press the display key Save if you wish to save the setting.
Rec. Connection
The send connection currently set for the handset is displayed.
- Press down on the control key to scroll through the list if necessary.
- Press the display key Select if you wish to change the send connection setting.
- Press the display key Save if you wish to save the setting.
