You can register up to six handsets and six Gigaset repeaters to your base.
Each registered device is assigned an internal number (11-16)
You must start registration procedure first at base then at handset
Once the registration is complete, the handset returns to idle status. The handset's internal number is shown in the display. If not,repeat the procedure.
You can register Gigaset handsets as follows:
Press and hold the registration button on the base for approx. 3 seconds.
Then start registration at handset
Start to register the handset as described in its user manual.
Of the S700H, for example:
The quickest procedure is to open the Registration on the Base before starting the Registration on the handset. If you first start the Registration on the handset, the handset will find the base that is not ready at that moment for Registration and will put it on the Blacklist for 15 seconds. |
Line assignment, wizard
One line is configured:
If you only have one line (SIP account) in your device and you add a new handset then the handset will be assigned incoming and outgoing to this SIP account.
There is no wizard started.
More then one line is configured:
When you add a new handset than you will see the Wizard to assign incoming and outgoing lines.
Incoming by default all lines are selected and can be changed by the user.
Outgoing, by default the first line is selected and can be changed by the user.
Line selection can always be changed via the handset menu, web-interface and auto-provisioning. |
