How to extend an existing Bintec DECT system with:

  • Gigaset DECT base

    and/or

  • Gigaset PRO handset(s)


How to:

  1. Upgrade the Bintec DECT system with the firmware V2.59
  2. Extend the DECT system with a Gigaset device:
    1. Bintec DECT 160 with Gigaset N670 V2.59
    2. Bintec DECT 210 with Gigaset N870 V2.59
  3. Add new Gigaset PRO DECT handsets
    The following handsets will be fully supported:
    1. R700H
    2. S700H
    3. SL800H
    4. R700H Protect


Digitalisierungsbox

If you have the Digitalisierungsbox Smart 2, then the Gigaset N670 and N870 can be installed as DECT cordless system as replacement of the Bintec DECT 160 and DECT.

It will be auto-provisioned like the Bintec DECT 160/210.

  • Behind the Gigaset N670 or N870 you can not connect a Bintec DECT Device.
  • If you have Bintec and Gigaset DECT devices and you want to install it at the same customer. Install the Bintec as the all-in-one system and connect the Gigaset in the role DECT base. (Using software 2.59)
  • Bintec DECT handsets behind a Gigaset device will be GAP only.
  • The above Gigaset DECT handsets can be installed behind Bintec and Gigaset DECT systems and are fully supported. (Using software 2.59)
