Introduction

Applications sometimes misbehave, to solve this there are 2 options which may resolve the problem.

1. Clear cache, which wipes all temporary files which the app might be using.  
2. Clear data, which wipes all data of an app including settings and credentials, basically giving you a clean installation of the app. It's pretty much the same as uninstalling and reinstalling, just quicker.

Clearing app cache or data. 

Goto Settings->Apps (On the overview on the right side of the screen: swipe from right to left untill all items are displayed).

Now select the application from the overview that is causing bad behaviour.

From this page the cache can be cleared. Once the cache has been clear try to run the application again.

If the application is still misbehaving, clear data and try again.
