Download and Installation

Download the PhoneSuite_TAPI_for_asterisk_setup.zip from the PhoneSuite website.
Extract the zip file.
Start the setup.exe and follow the installation wizard.

Software is in German, so screenshots are in the German language.

Step 1: Start the installation

Step 2: Accept the License agreement

Step 3: Define the installation path.

Step 4: Activate the license and finish the installation.

Step 5: Click on " Konfigurieren.."

Step 6: The configuration window is opened. First we we configure the connection to the Asterisk Server (T640/T440)

Alias: The name of the PBX

Server Typ: Asterisk Manager

IP-Adresse: The IP address of the Gigaset T640/T440

Port: 5038 manager.conf

Authentifizierung: manager.conf

Nutzername: AstTapi

Passwort: AstTapi (Like configured in manager.conf)

Step 8: The software can automatically retrieve the list with devices that are in the system. In the window of Step 6, click on the "scan" button. Remove all TAPI lines that you do not want.

The TAPI is now ready to be used.
