IntroductionIn order to reboot the system on a regular base, you have to add a cron job in the linux system. This can be done on a daily, weekly or monthly base. The changes will be gone after an sw-update of the PBX. Connect to SSH-consoleUse putty or another SSH capable client to connect via port 22 to the PBX system. Use the following credentials to login: Login as: root Password: <administrator PIN>
Add the cronjobenter

to edit the existing file. Following syntax can be used to add a reboot on every sunday at 23:15: The final text will look like this: # /etc/crontab: system-wide crontab

# that none of the other crontabs do.

Save the changes and exit the editor. Your system will now reboot every week on sunday 23:15. |
