Introduction

In some environments, provider create SIP trunks where username and authentication-username is not the same.

By default, the T440/640 offers only to enter the username in the SIP-gateway. But also the authentication-username can be entered via the Advanced parameters.

SIP gateways - Enter the value

In the web-interface go to Routes - SIP gateways and edit the according SIP gateway.

Go to the Advanced parameter and enter the authentication-username with following syntax:

username = <value>

Press on '+' and save the page.
