Introduction:

We would like to achieve the following situation.

Office hours: All calls arrive on an IVR.

Closing hours: Announcement is played and call is disconnected.

For this we use the Day/Night mode of the PBX.

Night mode can be enabled by the feature code: *90

To disable the Night mode and enable the Day mode the feature code: #90 can be used.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Applications - Voice Application:

Upload your wave file that you need for the announcement.

In this example we have an announcement for opening (IVR wav) and closing times (Closed Message).



Applications - Rerouting - Rerouting functions:

First we need to create the Rerouting function for the day mode.

Description: Name of the function (Welcome Message)

Announcement: The wave file you created for the Welcome message, see above.

Target Number: The group that will be called after playing the announcement.

Transfer with: Here you have the possibility to determine what the customer will hear after the message. In this case a ringing tone.

Call Switching: DISA, dial code numbers

Number of playback: How many times the announcement is played, (1 time)

Auto Attendant with DISA: Define the DISA codes and the targets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

First we need to create the Rerouting function for the night mode.

Description: Name of the function (Only announcement)

Announcement: The wave file you created for the Closed message, see above.

Target Number: No number will be dialed because it has to be disconnected.

Transfer with: N.A.

Call Switching: Announcement without DISA.

Number of playback: How many times the announcement is played, (1 time)

 

Applications - Rerouting - Rerouting Applications:

Create a new Rerouting application

Description: Name of the Application

Type of Rerouting application: Trunk Number

Switch call signalling:

 

Click on Variant 1:


We use Variant 1 for the Day mode.

Assignment: Select the day function, Welcome message


We use Variant 2 for the Night mode.

Assignment: Select the Night function, Only message



Numbering - Call Distribution - Incoming Call Distribution:

Assignment: Select the option Rerouting Application

Rerouting Application: Select the application you created above. (Main number incoming)

Active Variant (Day): Should be Variant 1

 

 

System management - Global Settings - System - Advanced Settings:

Do not forget to change the Routing for the Night mode, change this to Variant 2

 

It is also possible to switch automatic between the Day and Night mode using the Calendar option.

Applications - Calendar: to create new calendar

Description: Name of the Calendar

Application: Rerouting for internal/external number

 

 

Define the Days and Time schedules, you can also add public holidays,

Variant 1 is here used for the Day mode.

Variant 2 is used for the night mode.

Switch call signalling: Select your Calendar you created above.
