For telephones in professional use, Gigaset offers access to telephone and address directories in LDAP format. The Gigaset IP phones act as LDAP clients. The objects of the directory (phone book entries) are listed on the telephone displays. For each entry the associated detailed information can be displayed.

This document explains how to configure the LDAP client and how the information from an LDAP directory is displayed on the phones.
