You can register the Maxwell to the redirect server and add the HTTP Digest username and Password into the server URL.

Example: http(s)://<username>:<password>@URL

When you want to connect to your own provisioning platform using HTTP digest (username/password) without the need to configure this in the device manually, you can use our redirect service for this.

The device will connect to your server:

1. Without username and Password
2. Server responds with 401 unauthorized
3. Device will try again, using MAC and MAC password
4. Server responds with 401 unauthorized
5. Device will try using the HTTP digest username and password
