Introduction

Call pickup is used to answer a call that is signalling on another device, there are 2 different Call pickup options.

  1. Call pickup in the group
  2. Call pickup for a specific extension

Call pickup in the group

By dialing a code, you can pickup a call that is signaled on another telephone. Call pickup is only possible within the group to which an extension has been assigned in the configuration. By default, all the extensions (all internal numbers) are assigned to the group "0".

  • Other device is ringing
  • Dial *0
  • You can take the call on your telephone.

Settings for group pickup can be found under:

  • Numbering - user settings - Class of service: Here you can define the different Call pickup groups.
  • Numbering - user settings - Users: Put the user in the correct Class of Service group.

Call pickup for a specific extension

By dialling a code and the extension number, you can pickup a call that is signalled on another telephone. In this instance call pickup is possible across groups.

  • Other device is ringing
  • Dial #0
  • You can take the call on your telephone.

Call pickup using Busy Lamp Key.

When you have Busy Lamp Keys programmed on your phone, you can also pickup the call by pressing the blinking BLF key. For this you need to configure the correct call pickup code.

Phone number is the internal phone number of the device.
