Description

The subscription URI for monitoring the dialog states of a number of extensions setup at the PBX. This setting cause the phone to send a single subscription even for monitoring multiple extensions. The associated NOTIFY contains the extensions configured at the server for the user and their respective status if it active.

Navigate to Function Keys and configure the "Type" as BLF(Server)

Verify the Number automatically populates and is the same as configured in Broadworks BLF list under the Monitored Users

The phone subscribes for the dialog state of the configured extension and receives notifications regarding to the state of the extension. The following

dialog states are indicated by distinct LED behavior:

  • Idle state --> LED off
  • Ringing state --> LED blinking rapidly
  • Busy or Connected State --> LED on
  • Holding a call State --> LED on

Cisco Broadworks

In the Broadworks web-interface you have the setting: Client Applications - Busy Lamp Field.

List URI: sip = < enter the name of the call list>@ <select the server from the drop-down menu>

Note down the List URI as this will be used to configure on the Phones WebUI

Search for the Available users and click "ADD>" to have them on the monitored users list

Click APPLY
