How to factoryreset the Hybird 120

You can reset the device to factory default by:

  • Reset button on device
  • Web-interface
  • Dime manager tool

Reset button on device

To the left of the slots for configuring the ISDN connections there is the reset button, which you can use to restart the device or restore the ex works state.

Resetting is done using the Reset button on the device.

If the key is pressed (for approx. one second) then the device resets. Pressing the key is equivalent to an interruption of the power supply. Any saved data will be retained, but all connections will be broken.

If you press the reset key for approx. 30 to 40 seconds, the device performs a factory reset. This means the device is returned to its ex works state. The boot configuration is deleted and all passwords are reset. The reset has finished once the device finds itself in the operating status after 30 to 40 seconds.

Note

If a configuration (boot) is saved on an SD card which is plugged in, the behaviour is different. In this case, a longer button press causes the configuration on the device itself to be deleted and the device to be started with the configuration saved on the SD
card. The device also starts with a configuration saved on the SD card if no configuration has been saved on the device itself.

Web-interface

In the web-interface go to:

Maintenance - Software and configuration and select "Delete configuration"
