The feature Drop to Operator takes care that an incoming call that is:

  • Not answered
  • When Busy
  • Declined

Is redirected to the Operator extension.

This feature is only for incoming calls directly to this user, groups calls are not forwarded to the Operator.

A group call will be signalled on this device and when the group does not answer and the Drop to Operator time is passed then this device will not ring in the group anymore.

This feature is for internal and external calls.


Timer when not answered

Timeout when not answered can be defined in the web-interface of the PBX, go to:

Administration - System Settings - Miscellaneous - Parameter "GS_SWITCHBOARD_DROP_TIMEOUT"

User settings

Go to the user and enable the option "Drop to operator" and define the Operator extension.
