Directory App

The directory app is your central tool to manage your contacts on your Maxwell 10.

In the default view, you can scroll through all your contacts from your Google account. When selecting one entry, the contact details will be shown on the right side.

For scrolling, searching and editing contacts, the standard behaviour of Android will be used.

When adding a new contact, you can choose on which directory the contact should be added. A new contact added in your Google account will be shown on all your devices which are synchronized with the used account. A contact added in the directory (orange symbol) will only available on the local directory of your Maxwell 10.

You can sort the contacts by alphabet, company or the most used ones. By default alphabet will be used. When you want to change the appearance (e.g. last name, first name) go to menu --> settings and select your preferred setting for your directory.

You can of course initiate a direct call out of a contact by clicking on the green telephone symbol in the contact details. Depending on the phone settings, the call will be made via headset or handsfree.

You can change this setting in the Web-interface of your Maxwell 10.

Via the contact details you can also see the location of the contact via Google Maps, write a mail via Gmail (or your preferred mail app) or open the website of your contact.
