Gigaset pro’s N510 IP PRO certified by Unify

Gigaset pro, the market leader in innovative unified communications solutions for businesses, announces the certification of its N510 IP PRO DECT IP base and phone by Unify, the Atos brand for communications and collaboration software and services.

From now on, Gigaset pro is entitled to label the N510 IP PRO with the Unify Ready emblem, while Unify resellers are able to add the product to their portfolio. The N510 IP PRO for mobile communication in SMB businesses is certified at the SIP Interface of OpenScape Voice– a native SIP-based real-time Voice over IP system (VoIP). The certification follows the certification of the Gigaset pro Maxwell 10 by Unify.


Thanks to the certification, N510 IP PRO now runs on the highly reliable, redundant and fault-tolerant hardware of the OpenScape Voice system, which is scalable up to 100,000 users per system and an almost unlimited amount of users. The system can be implemented on premise, as private cloud or as hosted or public cloud solution. 

The system has passed the interoperability test with OpenScape Voice for the following tested features:

  • Registration
  • Basic Call (BC)
  • Basic Call Extended (BCE)
  • Special Basic Call
  • Hold, Consultation, Toggle (Call Swap), Call Waiting
  • Call Forward / Deflect
  • Call Transfer
  • Call Completion
  • Conference Call / DTMF
  • Additional Voice Features ( Multi Line Hunting Group (MLHG), Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) from Xpressions (User’s VoiceMail Box))

In 2015 Gigaset pro entered into a new agreement with Unify. As an Advanced Technology Partner of Unify, Gigaset pro has access to a large network of resellers and a large number of existing Unify OpenScape customers. Both companies have access to extensive support and hold events to tie into the partner network and build a strong community. The certification of the N510 IP PRO is a new addition to this partnership.
