Introduction

Open the web-interface of the Maxwell 3 / Basic and go to: Settings - Network - IP

Device name in network	Maxwell
Network type	IPv4	Select the protocol that is used in your network (IPv4 or IPv6)
	IPv6
IP address type	Static	Select Static if your device has a fixed IP address
	Dynamic	Select Dynamic if your device receives the IP address via a DHCP server
IP address		Enter an IP address for your phone
Subnet mask		The subnet mask specifies how many parts of an IP address the network prefix must comprise
Standard gateway		Enter the IP address for the standard gateway through which the local network is connected to the Internet
Preferred DNS		Enter the IP address for the preferred DNS server
Alternate DNS		Enter the IP address for the alternate DNS server that should be used when the preferred DNS server cannot be reached
