About gnTel

As far as we know - we were the first - in the Netherlands with cloud telephony. Our founder John Elderling, former director of KPN Research, worked with a small team of enthusiasts on internet telephony in the late 1990s. This initiative continued to develop within 'TNO companies'.

In 2004 it was decided to set up gnTel and John became an entrepreneur. Things have gone fast since then. Meanwhile, we have thousands of customers and more than 100 resellers, who are well trained to advise customers about business telephony.

Over About gnTel

We waren – voor zover we weten – de eerste in Nederland met cloud telefonie. Onze oprichter John Ouderling, oud directeur van KPN Research werkte eind jaren 90 met een klein team enthousiastelingen aan internet telefonie. Dit initiatief ontwikkelde zich door binnen ‘TNO bedrijven’.

In 2004 werd besloten gnTel op te richten en werd John ondernemer. Sindsdien is het hard gegaan. Ondertussen hebben we duizenden klanten en meer dan 100 resellers, die goed getraind zijn om klanten te adviseren over bedrijfstelefonie.
