Introduction

The Gigaset T640 T440 offer the possibility to change the provisioning template of the Gigaset devices, that will offer you complete flexibility and customising the system conform your customer needs.

Example

On the N510, the user would like to have the MWI for missed calls disabled.

Missed calls should be disabled.

N510 Provisioning Parameter.

First you need to find the provisioning parameter in the N510, this can be done using:

 

Messaging - MWI Light
BS_AE_Subscriber.stMWI[N].bShowMissedCalls (N=0-5)0: No 1: YesYes

WebUI:Settings - Messaging - MWI Light - Missed calls

For each handset you can individually set on behalf of which type of new messages the LED should flash. The message types are: Missed calls, Missed alarms, eMail, Network Mailboxes.

 

T640 T440 Provisioning Parameter

In the web-interface of the T640 T440 go to: Provisioning - Provisioning parameters

  • Create profile (N510)
  • Select Phone Type (Gigaset N510 IP PRO)
  • Add parameter (BS_AE_Subscriber.stMWI[0].bShowMissedCalls) and Value (0). (See below)
  • Press Save

In the web-interface of the T640 T440 go to: Provisioning - Provisioning groups

  • Create new group
  • Add the created profile (N510)

Add Provisioning group to user.

In the web-interface of the T640 T440 go to: User & extensions - Users and groups - Users

  • Edit the user setting
  • Select the created Provisioning group.

 

The next time the device downloads the config, the new setting will be taken.
