Introduction

In the administrator web-interface: Administration - System - Systems settings - Provisioning you have the option "Disable DE... TFTP firmware update"

By default the DE... devices are upgraded via TFTP but when you disable it here, the firmwarupdate procedure will be done via our Gigaset filestructure using http and bin files. In some networks it could be that tftp is not possible and then you could fall-back to the bin file provisioning.
