Is it possible to track to which base station the handset is connected, so that hotspots can be identified?

Answer

To track and store to which base station the handsets are connected so that hotspots can be found, we need:

• Additional Memory
• Huge increase of data traffic in the N720 communication
• Increased handset battery consumption

Due to these limitations, we will not implement this feature.

At this moment the hotspots can be identified using the counters in the N720.

• Connection setups
• Handover (setup)
• Busy situation
