Introduction

This article describes how to assign an external phone-book to the DECT handset phone-book key.

Most phone-books are configured via provisioning.

Change phone-book key behavior.

How to change the DECT handset behavior that when the phone-book key is pressed, the correct phone-book is opened.

This has to be done via provisioning.

Press phone-book key and external phone-book is opened.<SYMB_ITEM ID="BS_LM_AppCfg.bit.bHasHighPrioNetDirAccess" class="symb_item" value="0x1"/>
When this is changed, you need to restart the DECT handset to activate the new setting.

 

Which phone-book is opened?

You need to configure which phone-book will be opened, when multiple phone-books are configured then you will get a selection of these phone-books.
