DECT Multicell systems are complex systems where handsets move between base stations and have to handle DECT reflections, variation in signal strengths and many other external factors that could cause instability when not handled correctly. In these unfriendly environments the right handsets have to be used. Gigaset pro handsets in combination with the Gigaset Multicell solution are optimised for these environments and tested in detail to ensure seamless roaming and handover.

If consumer handsets from Gigaset or other handsets from other vendors are used behind a Multicell system of Gigaset pro, operation cannot be guaranteed. And therefore we cannot offer any support. In case these handsets are used, replace them by the Gigaset pro handsets.
