After establishing a network connection, the onboardin assistant will offer you the possibility to setup your VoIP connection to your service provider.

Network

General information

There are two ways of configuring an external VoIP connection:

  1. via VoIP provider profile download
  2. via manual configuration

The amount is limited to 20 VoIP connections. All settings can be accessed via the Web-interface. The Phone-interface is able to configure such connections as well.

In case the default sending line of the Fusion is not registered, there will be a notification in the status bar in the Phone display. "NoSIP" will be presented there. As soon as the line is registered again, the icon will dissappear again.

VoIP provider profiles

The easiest way to configure your connection is via the provider profile. All required server settings are available in the tested profiles.

Just enter your credentials you have received from your provider (normally SIP username + password) and finish the setup.
In most cases the authentication name can be left empty. In case the device need to authenticate and the fieldis empty, it will use automatically the value from the SIP username for the authentication.

If everything were entered correctly, the connection should be registered after a couple of seconds.

After the VoIP connection setup do not forget to check the line-assignment in the devices!

Wi-Fi connection

Manual VoIP connnection

If your service provider is not available in the provider profile list or you have a local PBX system to connect to, it is possible to configure the connection also manually. This can be done via the Phone- or Web-interface.


Attention

The advanced settings can only be accessed via the Web-interface details. The assistants are optimized for easy setup and should cover the majority of installations already.
