  • introduced two new provisioning parameters for Broadsoft and other providers

    • <S_CONFIGFILE_URL>

      • The parameter stores the URL of the first configuration file at Broadsoft DMS and is introduced to interrupt the normal processing queue in case of check-sync.

        After occurring of this event the device points directly to the stored URL and not to the GC provisioning server.

         

    • <S_SPECIAL_DATA_SRV>

      • The parameter enables providers e.g. to upgrade or downgrade devices to a specific firmware.

        The Firmware is available on an HTTP server and the URL is a direct link to that file. The Gigaset provisioning file structure is not needed when using this feature.

  How to update:

  Via the webpage:

  1. Download the software and store this on your own accessible http server.
  2. In the web-interface of the N510: Go to: Settings  » Management  » Firmware update
  3. Enter the URL for the new firmware in the User defined firmware file: field
  4. Click on the button: Update firmware

  

   

  Automatic (Online)

  Change the Data server to: profile.gigaset.net/device/latest

  Then if you press the Update firmware button the device should automatic find the Firmware.
