Broadsoft supports the following phone books:

  1. Personal
  2. Group
  3. Group Common
  4. Enterprise
  5. Enterprise Common

Info: Phone book lookup for incoming/outgoing calls is available from software 2.20.5 or higher.

Maxwell 2 & 3Maxwell Basic

You can enable / disable the Broadsoft phone books and give them an different name to match your customer requirements.

The Broadsoft phone books can only be used if the XSI service is configured and working.


This functionality is mostly enabled via Broadsoft auto provisioning, see below for the provisioning parameters.

 The user can via short-press phonebook key ↓, be directed to one phonebook, configured by the administrator or via long-press get the complete list of available phonebooks.

Which phone-books are listed, is dependent on the settings.
